In the 14th edition, the conference TAEE (Tecnología, Aprendizaje y Enseñanza de la Electrónica - Technology, Teaching and Learning of Electronics) will be held in a fully online mode, between 8th and 10th July 2020. The TAEE online version is sponsored by the IEEE, under the thematic of “Electronics as a support for sustainability”.

Created by a joint effort of teachers of Portugal, Spain and Latin America, the TAEE longevity proves its current usefulness for improving the education in electronics.

It is a place where researchers and teachers of electronics and information systems can share their expertise, and propose new didactic tools to improve the teaching and learning processes of electronics.

TAEE will be a key opportunity to gather - in the cyberspace - a number of national and international experts in different areas, such as:

  • Fundamentals of Electronic;
  • Analogue electronics;
  • Digital Systems;
  • Microcontrollers, Microprocessors, FPGAs, FPAA, SoCs, etc.;
  • Electronic Instrumentation;
  • Power Electronics;
  • Control systems;
  • Signal Processing;
  • Communication Systems;
  • among others…

All presentations are openly published, and a conference book will be created. All presentations will be available worldwide through digital repositories of the TAEE Association.

Although authors can write the papers in Portuguese or in Spanish, English versions are welcome, and they will be published in the IEEEXplore, if aythorized by authors.

And….. if it wasn't for the COVID-19 situation, this would have been a great opportunity to visit Oporto city, in particular to participate in the Saint John Festivities, whose main event is held at the night of 23rd to 24th of June. This night is considered the biggest of the year, where a huge fireworks display takes place near the margins of the Douro river with the attendance of thousands of people!
