Presentation formats

All accepted contributions will be remotely presented in technical sessions (oral presentation).

Exceptionally, in this year’s online edition, all presentations will be available in Moodle, in order to allow registered participants to watch them and leave their comment in an online forum, aimed for nurturing an asynchronous discussion channel between authors and conference participants. This will also feed the Q&A part of the technical sessions, where presenting authors will be available for a synchronous dialogue.

The plenary sessions and the keynotes will complete the conference program.

Publications, awards and impact

Three awards will be given at the end of the conference (selected by the conference attendees and an evaluation panel):

    • Best paper award.
    • Best demo award.
    • Best oral presentation award.

All the presented communications will be made available in open access through the conference proceedings and the digital repositories of the TAEE association, plus the digital repositories of the public entities that hold a memorandum of understanding with the TAEE association.

The goal is to provide the maximum visibility to the TAEE conference, at the international level. The TAEE conference is also technically co-sponsored by the IEEE. Authors may opt to deliver an English version of their work that will be submitted to indexation by the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. When doing so, authors should also sign the corresponding copyright form.

The best evaluated submissions will be invited to submit an extended version for publication in IEEE-RITA.

The DNA of the TAEE conferences

The TAEE Conference promotes the active networking among its participants and the creation of social bounds among them. The conference venue and both its technical and social programs contribute to fulfil that goal.

The pilars associated to the TAEE conference that we would like to share with all potential participants are:

    • Presenting authors are invited to not only share their work but also to benefit from another authors’ sharing.
    • TAEE promotes the production and delivery of Open Educational Resources (OERs).
    • We are all more efficient if working in collaboration.
    • Learning is more effective is based on learning by doing. This idea supports the importance and relevance of lab-based work, project-based learning, etc.

Sharing the call

We invite all the participant of previous TAAE editions plus all those interested in the present edition to share the call for papers with their peers. For that purpose, please download the Call for Papers at the following link.
